College Board Opportunity Scholarships


This scholarship program is open to all students and does not require an essay, application, or minimum GPA. Instead, it rewards your efforts and initiative. You simply have to complete key steps along your path to college for a chance to earn a scholarship.


Elks National Legacy Awards


--Student must be a child or grandchild of an Elks member who is up to date on dues

--Student’s family must have been financially impacted by workplace injury or death


Rove Pest Control Scholarship


--Student must be high achieving

--Financial need MAY BE considered

--Student must be a member of the FFA

Next Generation Hoosier Educator Scholarship

$7,500 per year for 4 years

--Student must rank in the top 20% of their class OR have a top 20% ACT or SAT score

--Student must commit to teaching at an Indiana school for 5 years upon graduating from college.

--Student must be pursuing an animal-related career and demonstrate financial need

Questa Education Foundation Scholars Loan Forgiveness Program

$5,000 per year for 4 years

--This is a loan forgiveness program in which students will be forgiven 50% of the loan by committing to work in Northern Indiana for 5 years upon graduating from college.

--GPA of 2.75 or higher

Application opens November 1, 2020 and closes on March 5, 2021

Beacon Credit Union Scholarship



--Student must be a member of the Beacon Credit Union at the time of application

--Must complete a 200-300 word essay on a specific topic

Trine University Next Door Neighbors Award


--Any student who resides in Allen County is eligible for this award

No application, students must simply apply for admissions to Trine and complete the FAFSA by March 1, 2021

Lutheran Foundation Health Professionals and Nursing Scholarship

Starting at $1,000

--Students must be pursuing a career in nursing or other healthcare related field

--GPA of 2.8 or higher

--Attending one of the following colleges or universities: Huntington, Indiana Tech, IU Fort Wayne, Indiana Wesleyan, Ivy Tech, Manchester, Purdue Fort Wayne, Trine or Saint Francis

Fort Wayne International Airport Aviation Scholarship


--Student must be pursuing a career in the aviation field

This scholarship program is a student research program. Students complete a 20 minute survey about colleges in the area. Winners are chosen via a random drawing

$10,000 per year

--GPA of 2.5 or higher

--Majoring in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics

--Willing to consider internship opportunities with Lockheed Martin

--Student must have participated in Academic Super Bowl, Academic Spell Bowl, Quiz Bowl or Academic Decathalon during high school

--Must demonstrate financial need
